The Irish government has introduced a €500 million loan scheme for homeowners to fund energy upgrades to their homes. The loans, ranging from €5,000 to €75,000 with terms up to 10 years, offer reduced interest rates. Eligible installations include heat pumps, solar PV systems, and solar water heaters. The program is overseen by the Strategic Banking Corporation of Ireland and the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI). Projects must be carried out by SEAI-registered contractors.
