His professional career has been intensely international, including Germany, France, Spain, the United States, and the United Kingdom, in positions ranging from investment banking to strategic consulting or development aid. In addition to his professional work, he has been involved with multiple civil society initiatives.

Born in León, he holds a degree in Law and Business Administration and Management from ICADE and a master's degree in international relations from Georgetown University in Washington DC.
