This is maintained by the think tank Oikos in the study ‘Green, competitive and secure?’ on energy transition perspectives produced in collaboration with the consultancy Afri. The report highlights that nuclear power plants bring robustness to the Spanish electrical system by being a technology free of greenhouse gas emissions, helping to reduce the cost of the electricity market, and guaranteeing a reliable energy source independent of weather conditions.
