Presentation of the Report "The decarbonisation of industry in Spain"

On Wednesday, October 29, from 17:00 to 18:30, the presentation of the report “The decarbonisation of Spanish industry”, prepared by OIKOS, took place in the Sala Manuel Giménez Abad of the Senate of Spain (C/ Bailén 3, Madrid). The event was opened by Luis Quiroga, co-founder of OIKOS and co-author of the report, who presented the main findings of the analysis and the policy conclusions to drive the decarbonisation of our industry in both a fiscally efficient and competitive manner.
Following the presentation, a panel discussion was held, moderated by Nemesio Fernández Cuesta, president of the Energy Transition Group at Alantra and member of the Advisory Council of OIKOS. Participants included Joaquín Coronado (co-founder of Digital Five Investments), Inés Navarro (partner at Amura Industrial) and Luis Quiroga himself. The panel addressed the technological, regulatory and financial challenges of industrial decarbonisation, as well as opportunities to strengthen competitiveness and attract investment in the European context. The event concluded with institutional closing remarks by OIKOS.
