Visit of British MPs to learn from the successful conservation of the Iberian lynx.

The disappearance of species is a constant, and 20% of all fauna is in danger of extinction. From the United Kingdom, two Conservative MPs traveled to Spain to learn about the measures being carried out in the country to prevent the extinction of animals like the Iberian lynx, which for years seemed doomed to disappear and, thanks to state policies, has managed to recover to reach a record high number of individuals since records began.
The visit of the British MPs is part of the 'Oikos Think Tank' environmental protection program and led them not only to institutional meetings, where they had the opportunity to learn about the work of the Andalusian Regional Ministry of Sustainability and Environment, but also to visit specialized centers, such as Encinarejo, a breeding and reintroduction center.
On October 9, 10, and 11, OIKOS hosted a visit by two British parliamentarians to learn about Iberian lynx conservation in Spain.
